Transport Coordinator

• This role is to ensure that our next day vehicle availability is sourced and allocated within our existing fleet, be mindful of any external vehicle usage and costs.
• Reacting quickly to plant breakdowns or delays, finding smart solutions, and communicating clearly with all internal stakeholders.
• Working closely with plants, solving problems on the go, and ensuring trucks are used to their full potential.
• Collaborating daily with commercial teams, transport and plant staff to ensure a smooth and reliable service.
• Supporting the wider Transport Team with administration tasks.
  

• We are looking for an experienced self-motivated individual who can manage fast flowing information to make key decisions.
• The ability to engage clearly with stakeholders on a daily basis via email or phone.
• Able to plan Ready Mix Concrete loads across the network and review the previous days data.
• Flexible approach to a changing work pace.
• Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, on site.
