  • We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Assistant Team Leader to join our team on a permanent night shift. In this vital role, you will lead and inspire a team of flexible operators to produce high-quality products while achieving productivity and cost-efficiency targets. You’ll play a key part in ensuring a safe and organized working environment by collaborating with managers on SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) policies, maintaining plant efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. If you’re passionate about leadership, operational excellence, and delivering exceptional customer service, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

     
    About Your Role
    • To work as a hands-on assistant team leader to lead and motivate a team of flexible operators to produce a first-class product, to agreed quality and productivity levels and at optimum cost.
    • Collaborating with managers and colleagues in the development and implementation of SHE policy and procedures to achieve a safe working environment, with the aim of eliminating SHE accidents and incidents
    • Ensure the plant is running at maximum efficiencies, maintaining target cycle times and maintain a clean, tidy and safe work area always.
    • Support managers, support functions and operational teams to identify and implement continuous improvement methods with respect to safety, product quality, productivity and cost. 
    • Build effective relationships with manufacturing teams to always ensure excellent customer service.

    • Strong Health & Safety awareness.
    • Proven experience within the manufacturing environment and in leadership roles.
