  • About The Role

  • Are you an experienced Finance Manager with a broad level of experience across financial processes and stakeholder management? This is a delightful opportunity for a hard-working, enthusiastic individual to join our growing Finance department where you’ll be responsible for key financial responsibilities such as month-end processes, overseeing repayments for stock and materials and acting as a key contact for our internal customers.

     

    We’re seeking someone who is confident and proactive in voicing and implementing process improvements to help enhance time efficiency, whilst effectively managing key financial responsibilities.

     

    This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Aylesford office.  

     

     

    What you’ll do as a Finance Manager  

      

    • Deliver accurate and timely monthly management accounts and reports, including the provision of commentary of business performance against Budget, Forecast and Prior Year.
    • Maintain balance sheet control through up-to-date reconciliations
    • Manage key stakeholders’ relationships with our internal customers
    • Support the team in external audit processes
    • Be responsible and lead on prepayments of stock and materials
    • Work closely with the Financial Controller, acting as their trusted support in financial operations and decision-making.

     

    What we’re looking for

     

    • A qualified membership of ACA/CIMA/ACCA
    • A people person with experience of managing relationships with internal customers and key stakeholders
    • 4 years’ experience working within a similar role and proven experience working within the manufacturing, construction, distribution or logistics industry
    • A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Enthusiasm, flexibility, the ability to work as part of a team and take ownership of processes end-to-end
    • Excellent planning and organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Advanced Computer Literacy, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
    • Someone who is open to change and enjoys being in an environment where your voice matters.
