• Provide technical support and guidance to electricians, fitters, and multi‑skilled technicians.
• Ensure all reactive work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high mechanical and electrical standard.
• Maintain accurate reactive maintenance records, including faults, parts used, and repair times within the CMMS.
• Communicate clearly with production and operations teams regarding equipment status, repair plans, and temporary workarounds.
• Identify repeat faults and support management with recommendations for long‑term reliability improvements.
• Ensure team compliance with LOTOTO, PPE, and safety rules during all breakdown and recovery activities.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and reactive maintenance reviews.
• Monitor team performance against KPIs including response time, completion rate, and safety compliance.
• Support the development of team capability through coaching, mentoring, and upskilling.
We're Looking For

• Strong leadership or supervisory experience with the ability to motivate and coordinate a team under pressure.
• Excellent mechanical fault‑finding and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to prioritise breakdowns and allocate resources efficiently.
• Good understanding of plant systems such as mixers, conveyors, pumps, crushers, and material‑handling equipment.
• Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills.
• Good safety awareness and understanding of H&S principles (LOTO, PPE, isolations).
• Experience in concrete, cement, or heavy industry desirable.
• Multiskilled knowledge (mechanical & electrical) advantageous.
• CMMS experience and good reporting/documentation skills desirable.
• Familiarity with reliability or continuous improvement activities beneficial.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary maintenance teams preferable.
• PLC, SCADA, or automation knowledge desirable but not essential.
